Okay, so this project sprung entirely from “Fade Out” by New Radical Fate. I originally envisioned a production piece that called for me to microslice up the drums and elements but everything slapped together so well that didn’t happen.

In my mind 🤣🤣🤣 I had a super chill 🤣🤣🤣 laid back 🤣🤣🤣 and happy song.

And then as I prepared to upload it to streaming services (It goes global on Feb 9th) I read the details on “Pound The Walls.” My entire track was also literally layered with sounds of the suicide of the Jonestown Cult, which made “The Fade Out” all that more ominous of a title.
